Each project sponsored by the McDowell Foundation results in a final report, manual, handbook or other product that shares the findings with other educators and researchers.

The results of completed projects are presented here by topic area. Click on the heading to the left of the screen to select a topic for browsing. The McDowell projects that apply to that topic are listed in alphabetical order. Information is provided about each project in four levels of detail:

Research findings are provided in PDF format so that they may be downloaded and shared. In all uses of research material from this site, teachers and researchers are expected to cite appropriately the authors of the research and the McDowell Foundation.

Also listed under the topic areas are research projects that are currently in progress. The results of these project areas have not yet been published.

A search engine is available to facilitate scans of the projects for particular authors, titles, project numbers, or key words.
