On November 4, 1952, members of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation Executive and staff established the Teachers Credit Union (now TCU Financial Group) to provide financial services to Saskatchewan's teachers. It is now one of the largest credit unions in the province, with $200 million in assets, serving over 17,000 members through offices in Saskatoon and Regina.
