Gauley
& Co. was established in 1945 when D.E. (Tom) Gauley, Walter B. Francis, and
Mervyn Woods joined in partnership in Saskatoon. Over
the years, Gauley & Co. grew to become one of largest law firms in Saskatchewan
with offices in Saskatoon and Regina. In 2001, the firm merged with McDougall
Ready to become McDougall Gauley. McDougall
Gauley is proud of its long and close association with Saskatchewan teachers and
the STF spanning more than 40 years. This relationship started when Gauley &
Co. began to provide legal services and assistance to the STF during the administration
of the late Gib Eamer. The warm relationship established over the years continues
to the present day. In
contributing financially to the McDowell Foundation, the firm notes: "The
McDowell Foundation for Research into Teaching fills an important need for practicing
teachers and will serve and benefit students, teachers and the educational community
at large. The objectives of the McDowell Foundation reflect the commitment, vision
and leadership of the STF and McDougall Gauley is pleased and proud to participate
as a founding sponsor." |
