Learning From Practice Conference

This conference sponsored by the McDowell Foundation has been an annual event since 1995, attracting classroom teachers, administrators and educational researchers.

The exchange has four purposes:

• Highlight the findings of research projects funded by the Dr. Stirling McDowell Foundation for Research Into Teaching.
• Provide research skills and information to teachers and others who wish to undertake research.
• Build an educational research community among practicing teachers, administrators and researchers.
• Recognize outstanding contributions to educational research through the annual presentation of the McDowell Award.

Learning From Practice will be held November 20, 2010 at the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation.
