Board of Directors

The twelve members of the Board of Directors are responsible for the overall direction of the McDowell Foundation. They oversee its operations and finances, establish policies, and approve programs and budgets. The Board of Directors is made up of five teacher-donors, a superannuated teacher, three major corporate donors, and representatives of the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation. It is chaired by the General Secretary of the Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation, who is also the President of the Foundation.
